Auckland Prayer Breakfast
“And the glory which God gave His son Jesus, Jesus gives us,
that we may be one just as they are one” John 17:22
The Auckland Prayer Breakfast is the most ethnically diverse, multi-denominational unity event on the Auckland Christian calendar
A Call to Prayer for Auckland
In the New Testament, we see Jesus and the apostles praying for the Church and we find Paul encouraging the Church to pray for one another and those in authority. Auckland is a City for God’s glory to prevail through the manifestation of corporate prayer through the Church, we are called to always pray for our City.

Unity and influence
Why should you attend?
Unity
Together we express our unity in Christ, catch a glimpse of the body of Christ in our City, our region, make new friends and perhaps meet business and community associates whom you never knew were believers enjoy fellowship over a breakfast.
Compassion
Any person who desires to pray for our different communities that come together in the Auckland, across our region such as business (the professions), politics, ethnic communities, the arts, education, government and those in need.
Freedom
It’s good to pray at all times and also alone, but there is a place for corporate prayer on occasions such as this. This is a privilege we should not underestimate, to be able to freely gather in this country and to call on our Heavenly Father in prayer.
When Christians from different churches, traditions and denominations come together in unity, ‘that’s where God commands the blessing’.

Frequently Asked Questions
What about coffee?
Yes, caffeine will be available! We have asked all venues to organise providing you with your cuppa morning java, tea or hot chockie.
How does this work?
Each venue will provide a combination live event with pre-recorded prayers and messages. Think of it more a prayer meeting than our usual prayer breakfast. There will be more time for prayer and fellowship with others who live or work close to you. Use this as an opportunity to network by inviting others to attend. An invitation has gone out to all churches we have contact details for… Ask them if they got it and encourage them to join us.
Who will be some of the pray-ers?
Early on, we decided to remove the messages and double the prayer…
